"Really awful"
Yes it has a cooling effect on the scalp thats about it. This shampoo leaves a really bad residue on the scalp and hair not only that but it doesnt clean the scalp well and makes dandruff worse. Just used it twice and threw it away. I am very disapointed with this product.

"Ultimate Basic Haircare Set"
I've been using this set for a few months now and can officially say this works in both cold and warm weather. My hair is very long, so naturally the ends are very dry and frizzy. I can't go too long without cleaning it though, or else my scalp gets a bit oily. This, along with my other haircare, works wonders! The shampoo doesn't freeze your head like some cooling shampoos with lots of tea tree oil, but cools is comfortably. Along with head massages to ward off dandruff, this shampoo has kept my scalp & scalp hair healthy. Whether I use my scalp conditioner or not, this shampoo doesn't dry out my scalp, and the bit of salicylic acid and such in it has ended up helping with the little pimples on my hairline and scalp. As for the treatment itself, I'm a bit confused as to why it has salicylic acid too, but it conditions my hair much better than any drugstore conditioner I've ever bought, and even my salon's pro brand one. I still use a hair serum with it though, and a hair treatment that's pretty much pure camellia oil once a week as well. I only wish the hair treatment had even more of the oils in it so I didn't have to bother with my other weekly treatment. Whether you add on more moisture for extra damaged hair like mine or use it by itself, this stuff will work you wonders.
