Here's How Klairs Sunscreen Always Work Even on Sensitive Skin

You’ve most likely have heard about the Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence and as such, were curious to learn more about the product and how it performs on the skin. Well then, if you are similar to me with a skin type that is sensitive, dry and acne prone, then you have arrived at the right review!
The latest product launch from the Klairs brand is their new Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence. This specific SPF for face is designed to deliver broad-spectrum protection with a lightweight moisturizing texture that is not supposed to leave the skin feeling heavy, oily, or greasy. Plus, this SPF contains skincare ingredients that work to treat the skin with care throughout the day, meaning it's more than just an SPF.
Now that you are a little more into the concept of using SPF on the face daily, now it's time to get into this review, my personal experience with the product.
In terms of the product and the packaging itself, I was quite pleased with the size of the bottle! This SPF comes in a very "generous" amount of 2.7 fluid ounces, which is quite large for a facial sunscreen. To top it off, the overall design is clean and chic looking with a smart dispenser tip, which allows for controlling dispensing of the product in a mess-free way. The product concept and theme match that of the "Freshly Juiced Line" from Klairs, which is a line focused on brightening, hydrating and anti-ageing. As such, it was wise that Klairs made an SPF for this particular line to protect skin that is using brightening products.
Now onto the texture! As I mentioned previously, this formula is water-based but still has some moisturizing ingredient within it, making it a very hydrating, thin lotion texture. It leaves a light moisturizing layer over the skin that is not tacky but has a good amount of grip, making it a great makeup primer for those with dehydrated and dry skin. It absorbs nicely into the skin, but not at a very quick speed if you already have a cream or lotion on. Best of all, it does not leave a white cast!

Personally, I am big on ingredients when it comes to skincare, to my liking, this water-based SPF for face contains gentle and functional ingredients that work well for my skin. When it comes to how it performed on my sensitive dry acne prone skin, I must say I was happy! I found when used with a day cream, it was too much for my skin. Instead, I started using it alone as my day cream, of course after using toner, essence and serum. When used this way, it was just the right amount of moisture and hydration! The fragrance wasn't too strong, so it did not cause me any irritation or hives, nor did it clog my pores... that I know of.Any breakouts or irritation?
I have been struggling with a clogged pore problem the past couple of months with frequent cases or irritation that I have yet to find the cause of. When using this SPF, my clogged pores and irritation frequency neither subsided or became worse. This gives me the idea that the Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence works well with my skin, as it did not cause any additional breakouts or irritation!Would I buy it again?
YES! I really like it! Even more so than some of my featured favourites on here such as the COSRX Aloe Soothing Sun Cream and the Klairs Mid-day Blue Sun Lotion! This SPF for sensitive skin works really great with my skin, even though it has fragrance, plus it's just the right amount of moisture for everyday use! I honestly recommend it!
